Terms and Conditions for Karma Yoga Journeys' yoga vacations and retreats
Registrations & Payments
On-line registrations can be submitted by completing our Registration Form on our website.
Deposit: All trips require a USD $500.00 deposit. The deposit will confirm your reservation until 30 days prior to trip departure, at which time the balance of the trip is due. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, we will regard the booking as canceled. Preferred method of payment is by credit card or may pay by personal check or money order.

Registrations will be accepted after the final payment is due (30 days prior to departure), but they are on request and subject to availability at the time of booking. In the case of late bookings, full payment will be required upon registration. Payments made less than 30 days before departure must be made with certified check, money order or credit card.

Upon registration You will receive confirmation and a pre departure information package that will include visa/passport requirements, insurance information, health information, recommended reading list, clothing suggestions, and other travel tips. Final itinerary, meeting instructions will be provided prior to departure. (Note: this is not applicable to all trips).

Group size and trip costs. The advertised cost for each journey is based on an established minimum level of participation. Should the group for any journey fall below this number, each traveler may be assessed a surcharge dependent upon the number of persons traveling (usually between US $100 and US $300 per person). We make every effort to keep the surcharge as small as possible. If assessed a surcharge, you will be notified of the amount at least two weeks before the departure date. Payment is due upon notification. OR In the event that we do not have the minimum number of participants we reserve the right to: a) add a 10% small group surcharge or, b) cancel the journey. In either case, you will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of a journey cancellation, you will receive a full refund or you may transfer to another trip.

Cancellations and refunds. All payments are non-refundable and we strongly suggest you purchase cancellation insurance to cover any cancellation fees applicable. Note: Should the trip fail to achieve minimum participation, Karma Yoga Journeys and Yoga.com reserve the right to cancel the journey and refund any deposits received. Karma Yoga Journeys and Yoga.com will offer participants the opportunity to apply these funds to a similar revised trip offered within 12 months of trip cancellation.

Travel Insurance We strongly recommend purchasing Trip Insurance to protect against cancellation fees and additional travel expenses that may incur before, after or during the trip. Karma Yoga Journeys will cover participants with travel insurance through MedEx. The cost is included in the journey price. Please note: A Travel Insurance Waiver Form must be signed, if you do not wish to purchase insurance through us.

Journey costs Journey costs and what they include are listed on the itinerary for each journey. Unless indicated otherwise on the journey itinerary, the journey fee includes: accommodations in single occupancy, meals as indicated (any foods or beverages not included in the program and purchased by you will be at additional cost. journey price includes only foods and beverages that are provided to the entire group), all transportation during the journey, sightseeing as specified in the itinerary, entrance fees for parks and other areas, and services of a local tour guide. Journey costs are based on group rates and no refunds will be given for unutilized services.

Items not Included in our costs:
- Visa to the country of destination and passport charges
- Departure taxes
- Gratuities
- Extra meals not included in itinerary
- Items of a personal nature (ie laundry, drinks, telephone calls, personal
clothing)
- Emergency evacuation
- Personal travel insurance
- Any item that is not specified as being included

| Documents. A valid passport must be held by each participant. Some countries require that your passport is valid for 6 months from entry into the country. Visas are required for entry into some countries. Please check with your local Embassy or Consulate of the country being visited, to learn about Visa requirements for your Nationality. Obtaining Visas is at the participants own expense. |

Journey dates and delays. Since schedules are determined in advance, delays or postponements may become necessary. This could happen due to inclement weather, political restrictions or any other cause. In this event, you will have no right to a refund and Karma Yoga Journeys and Yoga.com will have no obligation in respect to such changes. Karma Yoga Journeys and Yoga.com reserve the right to cancel any journey prior to departure, in which case any payment you have made to Karma Yoga Journeys and Yoga.com will be refunded in full. You will not be entitled to make any further claims for compensation or damages, for any loss, consequential damage, expenses, and loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation.

Important Note. All services described herein are organized by Karma Journeys and/or Yoga.com. Notice is hereby given that all arrangements made on behalf of participants are made by the organizers on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, or irregularity which may be occasioned through acts of any company and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith. The information contained in this site is correct to the best of the organizer's knowledge, but the organizer accepts no liability for any inaccuracies therein. The organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or service at any time without penalty to the organizer. Any additional expense or cancellation costs shall be borne by the participant. The organizers reserve the right to withdraw or refuse any service to any participant at the discretion of the organizers. Payment of deposit is taken as acknowledgment of and agreement to the above items.

Consumer disclosure notice Karma Yoga Journeys and/or Yoga.com act only in capacity as agents for the participant in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sight-seeing journeys and transportation, whether by rail, bus, motorcar, boat or any other means and as agent holds itself free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. Karma Yoga Journeys and/or Yoga.com will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the participant's belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the journeys, and are subject to currency changes. Karma Yoga Journeys, Yoga.com and affiliates, officers, employees, servants and agents shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or journey participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of Karma Yoga Journeys or Yoga.com for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with these journey.
